We found ourselves in Noank, CT, near Mystic CT where Mystic Pizza was filmed. We found a great restaurant named Abbott's Lobster in the Rough. Very casual--BYOB and tablecloth for that matter, but not soda. Lobster was great--very cheap.
After a few hours of sleep it was back on the road and then a quick stop at a local clam shack along the highway. Yummmm.
Stay tuned for our next adventure from Cape Cod/Hyannis/Nantucket.

Hey Road-trippers!!! I love the blog... it's a great way to keep in touch and Dom is going to be so excited now that he can view your pics and write a message. I am going to log him on this week and let him send something, so stay tuned.
I see that you are doing a lot of my two favorite summer activities: eating seafood and drinking beer! Since I can do neither this summer, I totally trust the task of covering that for me to you three and that you will surely share with me all of the joy you are experiencing from it!!! Love you. – Ashley
I love the blog! I can't wait for the update. Is this as easy as it looks? Please eat enough for me too while you're making your way across the USA.
BTW- I told the folks here that my last official day is January 1, 2010. I want to do what you guys are doing, enjoyin' life. Love you - Wanda
Wow, looks like you guys are having a great time! I'm hopping on a plane and meeting you at your next destination. Hazel looks like she's an old hat at trekking. Where are you off to next?
It has been a while since we've heard from you. Where are you now?
You folks looked so elegant having High Tea at the Empress Hotel. I especially liked the wildlife photos. You might consider doing freelance work for National Geographic during your retirement years. Yes, I recognized the jewelry man in South Dakota. Nice display he had. Y'all drop in again at Neil & Linda's in SF - any or all of you. We'll see if we can get ZZ and Prince back. Sorry about all the fog and damp weather. Coldest winters I've ever spent have been summers in SF (to paraphrase one more travelled than myself)......NH
